Since Miami will never ever require this type of coat, well I don’t own one . Any coats that I had when I did live in the big Apple , I left behind. So now I like to arrive to the city with no coat , find an amazing deal at a consignment shop the second I arrive and when It’s time to go back to my tropical city , I leave the coat hanging in my sister in law’s closet, and it sits there patiently waiting for the next time I come into town! Talk about loyalty! How perfect is that!?

I don’t even remember the name of the shop. But I do remember It was a thrift shop somehere uptown.
I tried on 7 other coats but this was the winner ! Perfect size , color , fabric & length! Here is one way I wore it in the daytime :
And in the nighttime I closed it up all the way, went for a more elegant scarf which I wore tucked inside the coat and traded the boots for some pumps.
I’m looking forward to my next visit . To me , Nyc is just like that loyal friend you have that you hardly get to see , but you know is always there for you and when you do get to see each other , you pick up right where you left off . Just like my loyal little coat that’s always there waiting for me, lol. I can’t wait to go back ! It feels so good to take in all of its energy and big city vibes! I Miss you NYC! We will reunite soon my dear friend, and not just for coat shopping and good eats! Soon illl be looking for that deluxe apartment on the east side!
