6 Tips for an OOTD that is simple, chic , trendy & comfy all in one !

They say, "less is more "... and I definitely do agree. Although It's fun to be a little extravagant too, on most days I prefer to  be simple and comfortable. when your look appears effortless , it just makes you so much cooler and hotter, lol! Don't cha think?!  

1. Choose Pieces that are basic but have some

Sort of detail that takes your look up a notch. For example , the top you see pictured above. It's a simple basic tee but has a little detail at the chest area. It just gives it a little more without trying too hard.

2. Choose solids vs. prints  and  calm  colors vs brights. This keeps it chic and elegant. 

3. Throw in something trendy or edgy, like the rips I added on the jeans. I actually ripped them myself , lol. When I looked in the mirror , I liked it but felt it just needed something more . So I got the scissors and added a few rips. Don't get scissor happy,too many  will take the look away from what we are going for here lol, but 1-3 rips will do the trick! 

4. Choose one or two statement pieces. You can go with some super cool shoes , a bangle that stands out , oversized sunglasses or a nice big Tote. Just makes sure you don't do too many at once and make sure the ones you choose give your look a high end feel.

5. Comfort! Make sure everything you are wearing feels good. From the shoes to the bag, pants and jewelry. I find it so draining to wear something uncomfortable. Yes sometimes pain is Beauty, but when going for a simple , comfy effortless look , this is definitely not the time for it! Actually , I really strive to never do that to myself. I know that  sometimes for a special occasion you just want to wear those super high heels or that dress that is so beautiful but makes it a bit hard to breathe in ... lol! But I feel you can still look amazing without sacrificing your comfort. 

6. Confidence!! Stand up  nice and tall and strut your stuff girl cause' you got it!
